The extensive renovation work on our administration building has been completed.
Primarily, the heating system was converted from natural gas to electrical energy through the use of heat pumps. We will exclusively use green electricity for the heat pumps, which will result in direct CO2 savings. To facilitate this, the building’s power connection was expanded, and radiant heating systems with activatable ceiling elements were installed in all rooms.
With this new technology, the rooms are heated on cold days and cooled in summer thus generating savings of about 50 tonnes of CO2 annually. A newly installed intelligent building control system ensures demand-driven and efficient operation of the entire system.
Additionally, the entire lighting system in the building was converted from conventional lighting technology to energy-efficient LED technology. By implementing these measures, we expect future CO2 savings of approximately 50 tons per year. Furthermore, other projects were implemented, such as improving occupational safety through the use of height-adjustable desks and the necessary renewal of the building’s IT infrastructure.
The company management and project management extend their thanks to all internal and external parties involved for their excellent work and timely completion!
Good luck!
