Efficient routes
The Stahlwerk Thüringen is built like a large U: At one end, the scrap metal comes directly into the smelter via the scrap yard. Then the melted steel goes through the entire process up to processing in the profile rolling mill. From there, the finished steel beam is loaded onto freight cars or trucks and leaves the plant on the other side.
Since our steel and rolling mill are directly adjacent to each other, we do not need any vehicles for intermediate transports in production. Such short and efficient production routes increase our flexibility and speed.

We work mostly with suppliers and partners who are based in our environment. Our cooperation is well-coordinated and trusting, as we have been successfully working together for many years.
The geographical proximity as well as the tried and tested, very well-functioning processes also ensure that we as Stahlwerk Thüringen can deliver the highest quality flexibly and quickly to the whole world.
