SWT GREEN STEEL

Steel that embodies tradition, present, and future.

Stahlwerk Thüringen is a modern company located in the green heart of Germany. As a representative of traditional heavy industry, we have developed into a pioneer for sustainability and environmental protection at our Unterwellenborn site, near Saalfeld.

As an innovative company with strong regional roots and international connections, we are committed to responsibility and progress. Our Vision: Climate-friendly steel for a sustainable future.

We supply our products to steel traders in over 60 countries. The scrap metal for our steel primarily comes from within a 300-kilometer radius. Since steel is one of the few raw materials that can be completely recycled and is so widely applicable, it will remain a central raw material for our society in the future.
