The electric steel works

A consortium consisting of VOEST-ALPINE Industrieanlagenbau GmbH Linz, Austria, and DEUTSCHE VOEST-ALPINE Industrieanlagenbau Düsseldorf, Germany, was awarded the contract to build the electric steel works.

The investment at this plant with the continuous casting machinery and the necessary peripheral facilities, such as scrap steel yard, electric power station and local infrastructure totals EUR 112 million.

The entire production complex of the new electric steel making plant has been constructed in strict compliance with the requirements for the protection of the environment against noise and dust pollution.
